I can wear some of my lolita dresses in non-lolita ways on casual Fridays at my work, but generally don't bother.<br /><br />Yeah, less judgemental attitudes overall would be good. I find myself judging people a lot, including on appearance, and am trying to train myself out of it... and I feel like I'm a pretty easy-going person so I guess what I'm saying is for society as a whole to get over being judgemental will be an uphill slope.Rolihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17397860759056883709noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8492273107335212025.post-51157417308330015052016-08-11T02:43:03.603+10:002016-08-11T02:43:03.603+10:00I'm lucky enough that my workplace dress code ...I'm lucky enough that my workplace dress code is pretty loose and forgiving, but while I get away with the sort of otome or otona-kawaii style, I think a full on Lolita would be too much. Maybe one day I'll come across pieces which would be toned down enough for work. I agree, it's a shame that we can't just wear what we want without having others comment on it or, in more serious cases, worrying for our safety. The world would be a much nicer place if people learnt that clothes are just clothes, something to keep us from walking around naked, and stop with all the prejudices and judgemental attitudes, regardless of whether the other person is wearing traditional clothing of their culture, alternative fashion or a track suit.Cupcake Kamisamahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17740637850835315898noreply@blogger.com
